The HP Pavilion DM1z has finally gone on sale. This 11.6 inch ultraportable notebook is available with a variety of AMD's Athlon II Neo processors ranging from the 1.3GHz K325 to the 1.7GHz K125 processor. Other specifications include up to 5GB of DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive or a 128GB SSD, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4225 integrated graphics, an optional external DVD burner, WiFi 802.11n, optional WWAN, VGA webcam and a 5-in-1 card reader. The keyboard is nearly full-sized.
The Pavilion DM1z ships with a 6-cell battery which will reportedly power the laptop for up to 5.25 hours. It weighs 3.24 pounds and runs Windows 7 (Home Premium / Professional). The 11.6 inch display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
