HP has officially launched its 15.6 inch Compaq Presario CQ62z notebook. It features a black-matte exterior. The Compaq Presario CQ62z is available with your choice of a dual-core 2.2GHz AMD V120, 2.3GHz AMD Athlon II N330, 2.3GHz Turion II P520, 2.1GHz triple-core Phenom II N830 or 2.8GHz Phenom II N620 at 2.8GHz. Other specifications include up to 500GB of hard disk space, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, DVD writer or Blu-ray combo drive and ATI Radeon HD 4250 integrated or Radeon HD545v 512MB dedicated graphics.
The 15.6 inch LED backlit display features 1366 x 768 pixels. Rounding out the specs are an optional web camera, built-in Altec Lansing stereo speakers, microphone, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth (optional), Ethernet LAN, modem (optional), VGA output and three USB ports. Select models are also available with an HDMI output and a 5-in-1 media card reader.The notebook weighs 4.85 pounds with the 6-cell battery. It runs Windows 7 Home Premium.
