DELL INSPIRON R SERIES NOW AVAILABLE IN THE US

The affordable Inspiron R Series notebooks are now available for purchase in the US. The notebooks that are currently available include the 14 inch Inspiron 14R, 15.6 inch Inspiron 15R and the 17.3 inch Inspiron 17R.

All three models are available with Intel's Core i3 and i5 processors, up to 8GB of DDR3 memory and up to 640GB HDD. ATI discrete graphics with 1GB of dedicated video memory is also available as a configuration option. Other features include built-in webcams, SRS Premium Surround Sound and optional Intel Wireless Display that would let you wirelessly connect the laptop to an HDTV when paired with a third party adapter which you need to buy separately.

The Dell Inspiron R series notebooks are available in four brushed finishes - Mars Black, Peacock Blue, Tomato Red and Lotus Pink – with chrome accents. They also feature smudge-resistant palm rests.
